Job Description

About The Role

We are seeking a highly driven Specialist, Transaction Banking Corporate & Commercial Cash Sales 1 to join RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for driving cash management sales and delivering customized working capital solutions to Corporate & Commercial Banking clients. You will partner closely with Relationship Managers, Product Squads, and Operations to originate new business, deepen client relationships, and grow portfolio utilization across cash management products and services.

What You Will Be Doing

Strategy & Planning

  • Build a deep understanding of customers business models, operating footprints, and decision-making processes
  • Lead the identification of client working capital needs, engage key decision makers, develop tailored solutions, and spearhead client pitches
  • Plan and execute customer engagements, remaining a key point of contact for clients and RMs
  • Drive cash utilization and growth of the assigned portfolio (existing and new-to-bank customers)

Sales & Marketing

  • Engage new customers and design customized Cash Management solutions aligned to their business requirements
  • Conduct discussions with clients to identify cash management needs and operational pain points
  • Develop innovative solutions and prepare high-quality proposals and presentation materials
  • Execute client value propositions, including product bundling and tailored solutioning
  • Collaborate closely with Business Circles, Product Squads, and Service Partners/Operations to ensure seamless delivery of solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date pipeline reports to track sales activities and conversion progress
  • Conduct or coordinate product training sessions and client events when required

People & Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain strong engagement with key stakeholders, particularly GCBB/CCM RMs, Product Squads, Service Partners/Operations, and Branches to drive origination and sales momentum
  • Provide feedback on market developments, competitor capabilities, and product gaps to internal stakeholders for continuous improvement
  • Organize and conduct regular account planning sessions and portfolio reviews with RMs

Governance

  • Strictly adhere to the Bank's product guidelines, policies, procedures, and processes as issued by respective Product and Policy owners
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory guidelines issued by Bank Negara Malaysia, including mandatory e-Learning requirements (e.g., Management of Customer Information & Permitted Disclosure, Personal Data Protection, Responsible Financing, Fair Treatment of Financial Customers, and Fees & Charges governance)
  • Consistently achieve strong audit ratings and uphold the highest standards of compliance and integrity

  • Proven ability to identify client needs and translate them into structured financial solutions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, results-driven, and highly motivated individual
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the Malaysian banking landscape
