Job Description
This job exists primarily because of the Company's need to actively manage its control and compliance, treasury management reporting and also manage its liquidity/cash position to mitigate the adverse impact toward the financial performance of the company. Other risk-related responsibilities include internal & external stakeholders management and managing other ad-hoc treasury projects.
The role will support cash management and treasury related functions across various APLL entities by assigned geographical regions.
Responsibilities
Cash flow and liquidity management
- Day-to-day cash positioning to optimise working capital of APLL subsidiaries and seek efforts for cash centralization
- Execute foreign exchange transactions to support subsidiary funding needs
- Coordinate Intercompany transfers and ensure timely settlement
- Review ad-hoc payments and payment surveillance governance
- Maintain banking relationships and resolve operational or transactional banking issues when arises
- Facilitate treasury related financial activities such as loans, dividend repatriation, intercompany loans arrangements and liquidity solutions in assigned regions
Financial compliance
- Ensure bank signatory's process and review to assure compliance with internal policies.
- Ensure bank account opening / closure process are strictly adhere to internal approval procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper empowerment via Board resolution or POA as per local regulations as well as other banking agreements.
- Conduct regular review on bank signatories, bank accounts, direct debit setups including banking user access and entitlement in financial systems
- Assist in audit related queries and other reporting
Financial insights and projects
- Assists with preparation of any financial activity data for management reporting purposes
- Review bank fees, conduct cash flow analysis, support bank guarantees requirements
- Support in any treasury related projects and system process implementations for process improvements.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years Corporate Treasury experience preferably at the regional or global capacity.
- Excellent communication skills and able to converse professionally with stakeholders
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize under deadline driven settings
- Team player, self-driven and able to function independently with minimal guidance
