Specification & Technical Documentation Assistant

LATICRETE Malaysia is expanding our technical and specification support team. We are looking for a Specification & Technical Documentation Assistant to support our growing involvement in architectural and construction projects across Malaysia.

This role is ideal for fresh graduate architects or candidates with related technical experience who are keen to build a career in construction systems, specifications, and technical design support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in architectural and construction specification writing (materials, systems, method statements)
• Prepare typical section drawings, system details, demarcation layouts, and basic technical sketches
• Support technical documentation and submission for projects, consultants, and authorities
• Coordinate and manage project-related documents, datasheets, and approvals
• Assist the technical and specification team in day-to-day coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Perform other related technical and documentation tasks as required

Requirements

• Fresh graduates in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Building Technology, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply
• Candidates with relevant working experience in architectural firms, consultancies, or construction material companies will be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of construction detailing, drawings, and specifications
• Familiar with AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is a plus)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organised, and willing to learn
