Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of para-professionals who receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.
Monitor warehouse activities to ensure that goods are stored correctly and safely, and warehouse space is used efficiently.
Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment, and make recommendations for improvements.
Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
Responsible for warehouse inventory stock counts and the reconciliation of stock records, inventory mapping with the external warehouse, and responsible for the accuracy of inventory in the warehouse.
Supervise staff to ensure that all warehouse activities and all machines and equipment are operated safely.
Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.

Requirements:-
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
At least 45 years in a supervisory or teamlead role overseeing warehouse staff.
Proven ability to supervise, coach, and train warehouse teams, including new hires.
Experience with inventory control, stock reconciliation, and external warehouse coordination.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, dispatching, and documentation.
Handson experience with inventory systems such as WMS or ERP (SAP / Oracle / similar).
Good understanding of FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy processes.
Ability to read and interpret warehouse documentation, stock reports, and audit requirements.
Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and equipment operation (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
Good leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Strong organizational and taskprioritization skills to ensure workload distribution and meeting daily targets.
Ability to enforce SOPs, monitor compliance, and ensure safe working practices.
Capable of identifying process gaps and recommending operational improvements.
Good problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and stock records.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and within tight timelines.
Good teamwork and crossdepartment collaboration skills.
Forklift certification or knowledge of forklift operation.
Familiarity with 5S, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in external warehouse coordination, freight movement, and logistics planning.
