Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Sr. FPGA / ASIC Design Engineer. The Sr. FPGA / ASIC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing high-speed FPGA / ASIC solutions for a variety of applications. The daily tasks include collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing customized solutions, and testing and verification of these FPGA / ASIC designs.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer/Communications Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in FPGA / ASIC design and development
• Experience with VHDL*, SystemVerilog, and / or Verilog
• Experience with FPGA technologies from vendors such as Xilinx and Intel/Altera
• Experience with ASIC design flow and tools (e.g. Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens)
• Expertise in digital signal processing, high-speed interfaces and protocols (e.g. PCIe, DDR, Ethernet)
• Expertise in system-on-chip (SoC) design integration
• Ability to demonstrate debugging and analytical skills, and familiar with simulation tools such as from Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate across functions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with audio signal processing is a plus
• Experience with video signal processing is a plus
• Experience with storage systems and protocols (e.g. SATA, SDIO) is a plus
