Description and Requirements
Senior Middleware Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support services including installation, administration, configuration and product patching/upgrade on middleware products
- Perform monitoring, problem diagnostics and performance tuning of middleware services
- Provide application deployment and production support services
- Prepare technical, system and operation documentation
- Provide 24x7 on-call production support as required
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- At least 7 years hands-on technical experience in the following products on AIX, Linux and Windows platform:
- Apache HTTP Server 2.2.x, 2.4.x
- Apache Tomcat 8.5.x, 9.0.x
- BEA WebLogic Integration 8.1
- BEA Tuxedo 8.1
- BEA AquaLogic Service Bus 2.1
- Oracle WebLogic Server 9.0, 10.3.6
- IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment 8.5.5.x
- IBM HTTP Server 8.5.5.x
- iPlanet Web Server 6.x and iPlanet Application Server 6.x
- IONA Orbix C++ 3.1
- Compaq BusinessBus 1.4.1 and BEA Message Queue 4.0
- Mercury Middleware Manager
- HP/IBM DCE/ENCINA
- At least 2 years hands-on technical experience in Infoblox NIOS DNS appliance 9.0.x administration (Response Policy Zone, Access Control List)
- Good command of SSL certificate management operation such as SSL certificate generation, renewal and tools such as OpenSSL and Java Keytool
- Good command of UNIX shell (Korn, bash) and Perl scripting
- Good understanding of Java EE web / Enterprise Java Beans application architecture, application server clustering, performance tuning and JMX monitoring
- Good understanding of CORBA architecture
- Possess experience in C++ programming, Java programing and SQL
- Good analytical and problem-solving mind, self-motivation, good interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken business English
- Good command in Cantonese and Mandarin is an advantage
