Job Description
We are seeking a Senior QA Software Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will play a key role in the development process by designing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications
- Identify, record, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Perform regression testing and ensure software stability after updates
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on quality and maintainability
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Experience with performance and load testing tools
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
