Sr Software Engineer - C++ , Python, Shell scripting & Azure/Cloud

Scope:

• Core responsibilities to include analyzing business requirements and designs for accuracy and completeness. Develops and maintains relevant products. Coding and designing C++ application
• Support modernization of the existing Pricer application from legacy technologies to React JS/Spring Boot

Our current technical environment:

• Software: Java, C++, XSL, JSP, Spring-boot, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, React JS, Node JS
• Frameworks/Others: RDBMS, C++, Spring-boot, React

What you'll do:

• Understands and analyze business requirements and assists in design for accuracy and completeness.
• Develops and maintains relevant product.
• Demonstrates good understanding of the product and owns one or more modules.
• Support the modernization of the existing Pricer application from legacy technologies to React JS/Spring Boot
• Work with customer facing teams to understand requirements and translate the requirements into software design.
• Analyze, debug and fix customer issues.
• Continuously drive innovations by working with cross functional teams to address complex problems.
• Assist in solving complex customer issues and queries reported from the field and drive customer satisfaction.
• Work on sustaining existing features.

What we are looking for:

• 5-8 years of experience in excellent C++ programming, design, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Prior experience with Software development on Windows/Linux.
• CLI development experience is a big plus.
• Must be playing a strong technical role in the current position
• Exposure to Azure and AI/ML concepts is a plus.
• Exposure to Python and Shell scripting is a plus.
• A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements with a strong understanding of concepts related to data structures and programming practices.
• Candidate must have a strong record delivering software projects on-time and with high quality
• Candidate must possess good oral and written communication skills, be highly self-motivated, and have the ability to work in a team environment
• Strong in SQL preferably Oracle
• Working exposure on DevOps environment building CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins
• Experience in Performance tuning, troubleshooting memory or connection leaks
• Exposure to Agile methodology, Git and JIRA
