Sr Specialist, Global Category Management to join our team in
Cyberjaya / Sri Lanka!
In this position you will play a key role in driving product lifecycle excellence and category development for the Scientific Business Unit. This position supports and manages global initiatives across multiple product categories, contributing to strategic projects, new product introductions, portfolio optimisation, and maintenance of core product and marketing databases.
You will work in close partnership with Regional Category Managers (RCMs), the Scientific PMO, Operations and Supplier teams, manufacturing sites, and cross-functional partners to deliver impactful business outcomes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence global category performance and strengthen the leadership position of the Kimtech™ brand in advancing a safer future.

What your role will be
Lifecycle & Portfolio Optimization
Product Management & Improvement Projects
- Lead and track GCM projects from start to completion, including product enhancements, transfers, and new product development, ensuring compliance with regulatory and product specifications.
- Consolidate feedback received from factories and regions to support timely project execution.
- Own and maintain project trackers, dashboards, and related applications.
- Coordinate product and material testing with internal and external laboratories.
- Act as a liaison between manufacturing sites, operational functions, and regional teams.
Product & Technical Support
- Manage change control processes and ensure accuracy of all product-related content—including artwork briefs, technical documentation, data sheets, digital assets, and online catalogue updates.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Digital teams to ensure correct and up-to-date product information on global platforms, including Ansell Earth and Ansell.com.
- Work closely with QA, Operations, and regional stakeholders to resolve product-related issues.
Market Communication & Commercial Support
- Summarize and deliver final product changes to regions for seamless communication and implementation.
- Gather and consolidate voice-of-customer (VOC) insights from RCMs and customers, providing valuable inputs to R&D and Operations.
- Ensure RCMs receive accurate product data, regulatory updates, and global marketing requirements for effective project communication and regional impact alignment.
- Support testing coordination and manage sample requests between factories, global, and regional teams.
- Support the execution of portfolio rationalization strategies.
