Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Provides engineering expertise for assigned projects to meet requirements.
- Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work.
- Plan and execute the product qualification and electrical test failure analysis.
- Assignments involve complex yield problem-solving and DOE skills.
- It may require resolving conflicts between product performance objectives and low-yield problems.
- May lead the technical aspect of a project or sub-project under the direction of the project leader, as well as provide guidelines to the junior engineer.
- Serves as a highly accountable technical resource on a production process or problem area. An example of Root Cause Determination and Solution Implementation is required for promotion to this level.
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Preferably 5 to 7 years of experience: evaluating product low yield problems, statistical evaluation of product performance, and supporting new device product/test qualification requirements.
- Has proactive problem-solving skills. Has independent decision-making ability concerning product development and cost management.
- Strong in electronics and a good understanding of semiconductor devices operation (preferably CMOS) - experience with SoC and mixed-signal devices.
- Able to lead a team in a cross-functional environment and solve problems.
- Able to communicate effectively and get the joint agreement when there is misalignment between the department and the section.
- Having professional competence in electronic circuitry knowledge, statistical, 8D Mythology, quality tools, etc., will be an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience in ATE and system-level testing, analysis and debugging will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Teradyne Nextest Magnum 1/2/2X and Advantest V93000 is an advantage.
