Lead and develop a team of technicians and engineers to achieve key maintenance, quality, and equipment performance goals, ensuring strong readiness and reliability of assets for ongoing and future operations
Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of TPM pillars, including maintenance KPI (OEE,MTBF,MTTR, tDt), preventive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and focused improvement to strengthen equipment uptime and stability
Champion maintenance excellence by coordinating effective planning of maintenance activities, optimizing resource utilization according to company policy, RBA and local labor legal requirement, overseeing equipment condition monitoring, and conducting risk assessments for equipment reliability
Provide mentorship, coaching, and structured training to build technicians technical capability, career growth, and motivation toward achieving departmental objectives
Instill systematic problem-solving culture, applying root-cause analysis and problem solving tools, LEAN concepts, and reliability-based approaches to eliminate chronic losses
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance team environment that encourages ideas, cross-functional cooperation, and continuous professional development
Establish, review, and refine maintenance standards, equipment specifications, and long-term toolings care strategies to ensure sustainable performance
Assist in the planning, formulation, and monitoring of MOC and TPM budgets, ensuring spending compliance with operational priorities
Promote strong teamwork culture aligned with VS principles, strengthening synergy between operational teams and functional excellence
Identify and drive initiatives that enhance technical competency, TPM proficiency, and subject-matter expertise among technicians and maintenance personnel
Ensure full compliance with regulatory, safety, health, and environmental requirements, promoting safe work practices and strong TPM discipline
Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 10 years working of experience in related field
At least 8 years of practical experience in assembly process sustaining & development
Strong knowledge in TPM pillars, toolings care strategy, and resource management
Able to lead, coach, and motivate engineers and technicians
Enforces discipline, safety compliance, and maintenance standards
Communicates effectively in both oral and written form
Able to work confidently with diverse cultures and global networks
