Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Operational Specialist to lead and support our global IT Finance applications. The successful candidate will ensure that our applications run smoothly, efficiently, and securely, and will work closely with our teams to meet our business needs.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Ensure the stability, efficiency, and security of our IT Finance applications
  • Lead a support team to drive business outcomes, prioritizing work and allocating resources effectively
  • Deliver high-quality service to our users, enabling them to perform their jobs effectively
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, minimizing risks and ensuring the security of our applications
  • Collaborate with teams to align our applications with business goals, developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve success
  • Make informed decisions about our applications, prioritizing work and allocating resources to drive business strategy
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with our applications, ensuring security and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of periodic finance activities, such as financial reporting and planning, for our supported IT Finance applications

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • A university degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience in IT, with a preference for experience in finance application development.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, particularly incident and change management, is required
  • Experience in PL/SQL programming is necessary to perform various operational tasks, such as periodical activities, root cause analysis, and consultation
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and solving problems, providing high-quality customer service, and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Willingness to acquire broad knowledge about finance applications, business processes, and web-based applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with teams from multiple departments to ensure the orderly execution of proposed solutions and tasks
  • Good communication skills and teamwork abilities, with a disposition to deal with business owners, developers, and finance teams
