Role Description

This is a full-time, Internship position with Lesto Circular. We are seeking a highly proactive and motivated Startup Intern who will work across various functions to support our sustainability initiatives and technological solutions.

This role is best suited for fresh graduates who are able to commit meaningfully and are looking for hands-on startup experience beyond a standard internship. Candidates who are still studying and completing internship requirements may be considered, provided they can demonstrate strong availability, ownership, and independence.

The intern will work closely with the founder and contribute across multiple functions, gaining broad exposure to strategy, operations, technology, and market execution. You will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while supporting the company's mission to drive impactful environmental change.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day startup operations and coordination
• Conduct market, customer, and industry research
• Assist in validating and refining go-to-market strategies
• Support outreach efforts to users, partners, and collaborators
• Contribute to technical, data, AI, content, or design tasks
• Assist with project tracking and execution support
• Take initiative in identifying problems and proposing solutions in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment

Preferred Background

• Fresh graduates in Software Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Data, or related technical fields
• Candidates from other disciplines may be considered if they are comfortable with coding and using AI tools

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic to intermediate coding proficiency
• Familiarity and comfort using AI tools for research, analysis, or development
• Strong research and data analysis skills
• Ability to support project coordinationand task execution
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• High attention to detail and follow-through
