Job Description

Work Location: Miri / Bintulu

Contract duration: 1 year contract

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering and commissioning experience, including at least 3 years in a similar position.
Experience in structural engineering, particularly steel structures for oil and gas facilities, is preferred.

Professional skill

Proficient in interpreting structural drawings and structural cutting plans.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering calculations, design verification, and offshore lifting analysis.
Familiar with offshore hook-up and commissioning activities.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical coordination skills.

Responsibility

Perform structural design analysis and engineering calculations for steel structures in offshore oil and gas facilities.
Review structural drawings and structural cutting plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Carry out engineering calculations and verifications, including lifting analyses for offshore lifting operations.
Establish soft mooring parameters and verify gangway procedures.
Prepare job cards, work packs, and other engineering documentation for Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) activities.
Provide on-site engineering support and perform fieldwork during HUC execution.
Ensure all structural engineering activities comply with applicable project specifications, company standards, and safety requirements.
