Role purpose

As a Store Manager, you are the primary guardian of our brand's unique retail philosophy and commercial performance. You embody our desire to engage, listen and guide customers to products that are relevant to them. You will welcome customers into our spaces and through intentional interactions deepen the way our products are experienced. In demonstrating products that address customer needs you will deliver an exceptional, inclusive customer experience that contributes to our overall commercial success. Your leadership is central to the store's growth. You are responsible for steering your team toward achieving business and productivity objectives through proactive coaching, consistent weekly feedback, and strategic competency development. By efficiently managing staff schedules and identifying the unique strengths of each team member, you ensure that both individual and collective skills are leveraged to deliver an exceptional, sensory-driven experience that meets Aesop's high standards of excellence.

What We Are Looking For

  • History of successfully participating in and contributing to a team
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize empathy to manage interpersonal relationships and contribute to a positive and inclusive experience for all
  • Open mindset, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives
  • Effective people management skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of skin care and skin care industry (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of hair care, body care, fragrance and home categories (advantageous)
  • Mandarin speaking (advantageous)

This position is on a full time capacity and operates an on-site working pattern.
