Role Purpose
To lead the Strategic Communications team in planning and executing marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility and drive engagement. This includes managing campaigns, events, media relations, content creation, and digital strategies such as SEM. The role also involves analysing market trends, overseeing communications across platforms, and ensuring effective lead generation and campaign performance.
Responsibilities
- To lead the Strategic Communications team in delivering the following:-
- To conceptualise, develop, manage and coordinate all marketing activities includes promotion, events, roadshows, products launches, advertising, tv programmes and all marketing related activities.
- To monitor and analyse campaign effectiveness and results.
- To run market research, monitor market conditions and competitor&aposs information to identify and propose marketing strategies.
- To develop, oversee and manage offline and online communication strategies.
- Preparing and proofing marketing material including creative copy, visual and images and videos.
- To liaise and build public relations with the media to deliver and achieve maximum exposure for all marketing activities.
- Drive effective traffics to the websites and generate leads for sales team through effective Search Engine Marketing (SEM) plan.
- Preparing estimates and budget for marketing campaign.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor&aposs Degree in Marketing / Mass Communication / Business Studies or any other related field.
- At least 5 years working experience in media / marketing / digital industry
- Excellent communication in both in Malay and English, verbal and written
- Computer literate, specifically Microsoft Office applications are a prerequisite.
- Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
