Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and analytical professional to join our team as a Strategy & Business Planning Analyst. This role is responsible for driving financial and business insights, supporting business planning cycles, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the line of business.

Responsibilities

  • Business Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate financial performance to senior management and key stakeholders. This includes analysing and interpreting financial data to provide meaningful insights and explanations for variances and trends.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. This includes analysing key performance indicators (KPIs), financial ratios, and other financial metrics to provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial targets.
  • Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with various departments and senior management to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the business unit. This involves analyzing historical financial data, market trends, and business drivers to prepare forward-looking value-added analysis and timely support on all business performance related matters (financial and non-financial).
  • Business Partnering & Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate closely with business teams to drive and execute growth strategies. Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and effectively communicate business performance insights to non-financial audiences. Provide analytical support by tracking progress of key business priorities, identifying risks and opportunities against plan delivery, and recommending corrective actions where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office, ERP, EPM and advanced data analytics tools such as Tableau and Power BI will be an advantage.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively across functions and levels.
  • Analytical Capability: Demonstrate strength in financial and operational analysis, with a keen ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Accountability & Ownership: High sense of responsibility and accountability in delivering accurate and timely outputs.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work with strong focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Resilience & Agility: Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Learning Mindset: Adaptable and quick to learn new tools, processes, and business models.
  • Initiative & Independence: Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
