Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategy Consultant to support business transformation initiatives within the Energy and Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive strategic, operational, and digital transformation programs across upstream oil & gas operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transformation engagements from strategy development through execution and delivery.

• Engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide strategic recommendations.

• Support proposal development, RFP responses, solution design, and business development activities.

• Drive operational excellence initiatives through business process improvement and organizational transformation.

• Manage project delivery, budgets, timelines, risks, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Contribute to digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and innovation initiatives.

• Mentor junior team members and support capability development within the consulting practice.

• Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainability developments within the Energy sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geoscience, Petroleum Studies, Business, or related disciplines.

• 7–12 years of experience within the Upstream Oil & Gas industry.

• Exposure to one or more of the following areas:

• Exploration
• Drilling
• Subsurface
• Production Operations
• Facilities Engineering
• Experience in consulting, business transformation, operational excellence, strategy, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience engaging senior leadership teams.
• Proven experience leading projects, transformation programs, or strategic initiatives.
• Experience in proposal writing, client engagement, presales, or business development activities is an advantage.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
