The Subcontract and Supplier Management Engineer (hereinafter SSM) has the responsible for establishing, controlling/ maintaining and improving the subcon quality assurance and development system.
Create Values:
Perform audits on new and existing subcons with the purpose of evaluating the expected quality performance of the subcontract.
Initiate Corrective Action Report management and resolution.
Develop and maintain comprehensive procedures and policies to measure and ensure subcon performance.
Monitor key quality metrics. (Subcon OTD, and Quality system, process audit & yield)
Establish sampling plan & testing criteria during incoming, site inspection or at subcon production.
Continuous improvement and management by data.
Become subject matter expert. (such as FMEA, SPC, ESD, MSD)
Adhere to QMS of the company.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in engineering.
Prefer 2-3 years of related experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply too.
To analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret results.
Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Relational Databases, MS Outlook.
Able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Has knowledge of a company's manufacturing process, applications and process development in order to actively work with suppliers in improving quality components of goods and services.
