- Assisting the Executive/ Superior in the execution of the Quality Control functions to ensure products, test reports and batch records are in compliance with the quality requirements.
- Responsible to ensure compliance of product with the quality requirements. This may include the following:-
- Supervision of QCs in respective area of responsibility to ensure tests/inspections are performed efficiently according to approved test specifications, test methods, procedures, working instructions, equipment operating instruments and guidelines (where applicable).
- Where applicable, responsible for verifying, filing, compilation and documentation of test reports, test results in SAP, relevant documentation of all tests/inspections conducted, quality batch records and final release report.
- Immediate verification upon out of specification test results with superior to confirm the product failure or test deviation.
- Where applicable, perform results recording and/or stock transactions in SAP.
- Where applicable, perform Usage Decision upon accept/reject transaction in SAP in respective area of responsibility in the absence of person in charge.
- Where applicable, issue stickers and holdback / information form base on the status of the product.
- Where applicable, ensure proper archiving of test/inspection reports by QCs.- Where applicable, perform training of relevant document (eg. SOP, work instruction, test specification) to QCs.
- Where applicable, assist superior with revision of document (eg. work instruction, test specification).
- Where applicable, ensure concurrent update of the SAP master data by person in charge upon new/ revised test specification effectively.
- Where applicable, perform inspection of expired material upon request and perform SAP result recording of test/ inspection done.
- Where applicable, generate blocked stocks report in the absence of the person in charge.
- Where applicable, execute the QC responsibilities described in the relevant SOP related to handling of scrap,
