Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience in plastics-related processes.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, and DOE.
- Support quality-related discussions with customers, including audits and supplier engagements.
- Lead supplier quality management activities to ensure consistent performance and compliance.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring supplier readiness, process qualification, and risk mitigation.
- Participate in supplier audits, technical reviews, and external quality engagements.
- Drive PPAP activities to ensure production readiness and quality standards.
- Manage supplier performance through scorecards and quarterly business reviews (QBR).
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and a results-driven mindset.
Additional Responsibilities
- Gather and interpret internal and external customer expectations related to supplier quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish effective quality strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze and present data on supplier performance, quality risks, regulatory changes, and cost of quality to support decision-making.
- Partner with procurement and materials teams to define and align supplier quality requirements.
- Guide and support supplier quality teams in evaluating, developing, and monitoring suppliers to ensure compliance with safety, quality, delivery, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions, continuous improvement, and issue resolution.
- Establish and maintain supplier quality processes, tools, and best practices; provide training to internal teams as needed.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships internally and with external partners to ensure effective collaboration and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with at least 5 years of Managerial experience
