Role: Supply Chain Engineer

Location: Penang/Kuala Lumpur

Job tenure: 1 year contract

Salary: RM2,700

Key Responsibilities

Should have experience in identifying & communication with global component supplier with respect to component classification (IC, Passives, Actives, Memory & Interconnects)
Understanding of Product Data Management Tools (PDM/PLM) like SAP, BoM Management tools
Should have experience on BOM Risk assessment and Part Risk assessment
Should have exposure about ECR (Engineering Change Request) Processes & PCN (Product change notification) process
Should have knowledge on Quotes(RFQ) and Sample requests with International suppliers
Should have knowledge on ROHS, REACH, Obsolescence management & BOMs change orders management
Should have experience on working with International suppliers via email/call
Identifying and approving alternate part replacements for obsolescence
Strong Communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
Computer competency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and databases

Expectations from the Role

Diploma Graduate in IT/Engineering Field
Good communication skills and has aptitude to learn new technologies
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience performing data entry and maintaining electronic records.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct data inconsistencies.
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
Good written communication skills.
