Supply Chain Planner

Position Purpose:

• Manage storage and distribution of goods (inbound, outbound)
• Production planning, order fulfillment, delivery, cost control with CM factory
• Penang site materials shortage management

Position Summary:

• Inventory management of raw materials consigned to contract manufacturing business partners.
• Overall order fulfillment and delivery performance and cost control.
• Position will actively manage and transact within company systems materials flowing through the supply chain.
• Must have high level of attention to detail, and critical thinking to analyze reporting for errors.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to manage consigned inventory at Malaysia manufacturing Sites

2. SAP transactions management for inventory movement through production sites ensuring systematic records are accurate tracking

3. Inventory cycle count management at Malaysia Facility and offsite locations

4. Work closely with CM factory to build shipment schedules to meet OTD requests, full flow management from materials pull in to FGs out.

5. Product management from NPI to EOL in Penang site, including excess clearance

6. Product change implementation including ECO/TDN, PCN, component LTB in Penang site

7. SAP SO/PO system handling

8. Process readiness for NPI in Penang

9. Production capacity review weekly and long-term production capabilities, work with engineering team to make production plan

10. Work with CM factory, internal purchasing and planning team for materials shortage review and follow up

11. Support of Logistics/Planning function and inventory transactions for all other sites as required

12. Consignment shipment management: reconciliation report with CM factory

13. CM factory billing validation, cost analysis/reporting and cost saving project involvement

14. Other assignment by manager

Requirements:

1. SAP transactions experience is preferred
2. Excellent Malay, English & Chinese speaking and writing skills
3. 5+ years experience in Supply Chain
4. 5+ years experience in Inventory management
5. Microsoft tool experience, Excel, PowerPoint
