You will be responsible for production planning, inventory control, and delivery coordination to ensure efficient operations and on-time customer fulfillment. Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth execution of production schedules.
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans to address changes in demand, material availability, or capacity constraints.
Order & Delivery Coordination
- Track customer orders from order receipt through production and shipment.
- Ensure on-time delivery performance and coordinate with logistics teams for shipment arrangements.
- Manage order priorities and resolve planning conflicts to meet customer requirements.
Capacity & Resource Management
- Analyze production capacity utilization and identify bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to optimize manpower, equipment, and material resources.
- Support production efficiency improvement initiatives.
Inventory Management
- Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels.
- Work closely with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess stock.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports.
- Analyze production performance, delivery performance, and planning KPIs.
- Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the communication bridge between Sales, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.
- Coordinate solutions for production and delivery issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of production planning experience in chemical, manufacturing, battery materials, or related industries.
- Experience in production scheduling, capacity planning, material planning, or supply chain planning is preferred.
- Experience in multinational manufacturing environments will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in English and Chinese are highly preferred to facilitate effective communication with China headquarters, technical teams, and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office applications.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and inventory management principles.
- Familiar with management systems including: ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent reporting and data interpretation capabilities.
