Supply Chain Planner NPI

rhi are looking for a Supply Chain Planner (NPI) for end to end planning for New Product Introductions and Product Life Cycle Management, supporting a globally branded client with their FMCG range across APAC and Worldwide.

Duration: 12-month Malaysian contract terms

Location: Bangsar South , KL

Start: Immediate start available

Sitting within a team of 5/6 as part of a massive supply chain dept, you'll ensure seamless commercialization, supply readiness, and controlled phase‑in/phase‑out execution across the supply network.
This role partners closely with Marketing, Demand and Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to translate launch strategies into executable supply, inventory, and distribution plans while minimizing risk, obsolescence, and service disruption.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Planning, NPI Planning, or Product Life Cycle roles. - Regional & International exposure.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity, fast‑changing demand, and tight launch timelines.
• Strong functional and leadership capability in demand and supply planning.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., JDE, SAP, Kinaxis).
• Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel and presentation capability.

Skills & Competencies

• Mastery: Supply Planning / New Product Introduction / Product Lifecycle Management
• Skills: Risk Management, Stakeholder Communication, Problem Solving

• Behavioural: Structured, resilient, proactive, and delivery‑focused
• Technical: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP and Kinaxis.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Statistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

• Experience in lubricants, FMCG, chemicals, or manufacturing environments preferred.

• Language: Excellent English & Bahasa Malay is a must.
