Job Description:
- As a Planning Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Development, integration, optimization, coordination, communication and driving execution of engineering/production planning schedules, forecasts, materials, build plan, capacity requirements, and business and inventory strategies to meet business and customer requirements in collaboration with cross organizational supply chain stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities Include
- Ability to manipulate, analyse and share data using analytical tools and systems, resolve issues and collaborate with cross-geo and cross-functional teams, communicate effectively.
- Conduct scenario/what-if planning for engineering, products, processes and inventory strategies when necessary.
- Influencing/recommending issue resolution strategies in supply chain areas using data driven decision making across appropriate key stakeholder and management levels.
- Drive continuous process/project improvements.
- Manage cycle count of consigned materials including materials reconciliation
- Manage excess/expired/quality issue inventory. Support NPI/EOL/conversion activities.
- Drive supplier excellence including lead time improvements
- Apply lean practices on processes and systems with an emphasis on standardization and efficiency
- Manage weekly MRP and execution. Push/pull according to any changes in demand/supply.
- Strategize/Oversee turnkey materials buy by suppliers.
- Parameter setting in BY engine to ensure it is aligned with the material strategy.
- Ensure GR is complete for accurate inventory reflection, working with suppliers to fix any system issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain or Engineering with three years of increasingly relevant experience.
- Strong in mathematics and analytics.
- Ability to represent stakeholders interests and working toward a worldwide solution.
- Experience and knowledge of supply chain management, operations planning and management, business process improvement, order/demand fulfillment processes, along with an in-depth knowledge of supply chain management tools.
- Possesses an influencing skill set and can articulate data conclusions at the appropriate level of detail, based on the audience through crisp communication.
- Thorough understanding of the planning tools, systems and ensure data quality is accurate.
- Adopts a philosophy of continuous, incremental improvement and root cause analysis in work daily.
- Collaborative, influential and reliable.
- Proven track record in prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a cross geo team environment.
