Purpose Of Job
To lead end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, cost control, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery, while driving continuous improvement across warehouse and fleet operations.

- Ensure proper handling and segregation of temperature-sensitive, regulated and other specialized products.
- Maintain a clean, safe and GDPMD-compliant warehouse environment.
- Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliation and audits.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices and monitor shelf-life-sensitive inventory.
- Design and implement efficient warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization.
- Monitor storage density and adjust racking systems and storage zones based on product turnover and regulatory requirements.
- Plan for warehouse expansion or reconfiguration as and when required.
- Coordinate outbound shipments with 3PLs and specialized medical couriers.
- Ensure cold-chain integrity and proper documentation for temperature-controlled products.
- Optimize transportation routes and costs while maintaining required service levels.
- Oversee company-owned and contracted delivery fleet operations.
- Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules and driver compliance.
- Implement route optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Ensure fleet operations comply with applicable safety, regulatory and environmental requirements.
- Ensure compliance with GDPMD, ISO 13485 and applicable local health authority requirements.
- Maintain documentation for audits, inspections and product traceability.
- Collaborate with QA/RA teams on CAPAs, non-conformances, product recalls and other compliance matters.
- Ensure warehouse and logistics SOPs are properly implemented and maintained.
- Conduct training on SOPs, medical product handling, safety and emergency procedures.
- Maintain regulatory documentation and ensure continuous audit readiness.
- Monitor and manage warehouse, logistics and fleet operating costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvement, vendor negotiation and automation.
- Track budget utilization and report on cost performance.
- Monitor warehouse and logistics KPIs, including inventory accuracy, delivery performance, space utilization and operating costs.
- Prepare regular management reports on operational performance and improvement actions.
- Lead and develop the Warehouse & Logistics team with a strong focus on compliance, safety and operational efficiency.
- Plan manpower and resource allocation according to operational requirements.
- Manage team performance, provide coaching and identify development needs.
- Promote accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement within the function.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance and service quality.
- Support digital transformation initiatives such as WMS enhancements, barcode scanning and warehouse automation.
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, QA/RA, Finance and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
- Perform other related duties and ad hoc assignments as directed by the superior or Management in support of business requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics and/or fleet management, preferably within the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical or other regulated industries, with prior experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Practical experience in regulated warehouse operations, inventory management, cold-chain handling and logistics coordination is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of GDPMD, ISO 13485 and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems and cold-chain logistics.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse layout and space optimization.
- Experience in inventory control and reconciliation.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance scheduling and driver compliance monitoring.
- Proven track record in cost control, budgeting and cost tracking.
- Experience in vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Knowledge of lean operations and process improvement.
- Strong team management, coaching and training capability.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a compliance and safety mindset.
