The position
We are looking for Supply Coordinator Team Lead who will be functionally reporting to Operations Manager in Kuala Lumpur.
About the location/department
The position will be located at Kuala Lumpur which is the heart of the city and easy to get to by public transportation.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to oversee team workflows effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
- Proven ability to lead both independently and collaboratively, fostering a supportive team environment that values diverse contributions and encourages idea sharing.
- Demonstrated capability in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple deadlines, and ensuring team deliverables are met on time.
- Highly computer literate, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies quickly.
What You Will Be Doing
- Order & Shipment Management
- Process customer orders, including sourcing unavailable items
- Coordinate shipments, delivery schedules, and invoicing
- Monitor order status, delivery timelines, and costs
- Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with Customer Service, warehouse, transport, and suppliers
- Provide updates on delivery status, delays, and product availability
- Inventory & Cost Control
- Ensure stock accuracy and conduct regular stock checks
- Monitor product shelf life and maintain correct system records
- Verify supplier invoices and manage transport costs
- Operations Oversight
- Ensure daily operations follow SOPs and quality standards
- Identify issues early and drive corrective actions
- Maintain documentation and reporting
- Team Leadership
- Guide and coach team members on processes and best practices
- Support onboarding and training of new staff
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
