Job Summary

The Supply & DRP Planner plays a key role in optimizing the flow of goods across BP's supply chain. This position ensures efficient distribution, meets customer demand, and supports cost-effective operations. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a customer-focused attitude to drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply plans and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) that align with business goals and customer expectations.
  • Evaluate demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacities to identify potential supply chain risks and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholdersincluding sales, production, and logisticsto ensure effective execution of supply chain strategies.
  • Lead customer inquiries regarding supply and delivery, providing accurate, timely information and resolving issues professionally.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, demonstrating Agility core practices to implement innovative enhancements.
  • Supervise and report key supply chain performance metrics, using analytical insights to highlight trends and areas for optimization.
  • Apply strong commercial foresight to support decisions that enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Promote customer-centric thinking throughout the planning process to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead priorities effectively and demonstrate resilience and self-awareness in a fastpaced environment.
  • Support sustainability initiatives within the supply chain by advocating for environmentally responsible practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, DRP, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with demonstrated skill in conflict management and partner influence.
  • Solid commercial foresight and understanding of core business processes.
  • Experience with Agility core practices or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Customer focused approach with a strong track record of handling inquiries and delivering exceptional service.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation in solving problems.
  • High resilience, strong self-awareness, and the ability to manage and prioritize a demanding workload.
  • Awareness of sustainability principles and their relevance within the supply chain.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate diverse team dynamics effectively.
