You will ensure efficient planning, ordering, and replenishment of raw materials to support production schedules and customer demand. You will work with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to maintain inventory levels and avoid material shortages or excess. You will play an important part in balancing inventory optimization, and alignment with demand, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage raw material plans based on production forecasts and inventory targets
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure delivery of materials
- Monitor material availability and address potential shortages or delays
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize working capital while ensuring production continuity
- Maintain accurate data in planning systems (e.g., SAP or ERP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning or supply chain function.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Mandarin language proficiency is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Excel and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Good data analysis skills
