Job Duties

• Understand project drawings, inspect sites for obstacles, establish coordinates and alignment markers, and monitor site conditions such as ground and water movement.

• Set out reference points after each phase, take accurate measurements, prepare as-built drawings/reports, and communicate findings (including issues) to stakeholders.

• Oversee calculations (volumes, levels, quantities), identify discrepancies, and provide forecast data to support upcoming construction phases.

• Collaborate with subcontractors, data service providers, and client surveyors to ensure timely resource use, data validation, and information sharing.

• Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and secure handling of instruments while minimizing errors and complying with calibration standards.

• Enforce safety guidelines, communicate requirements, manage risks, maintain site safety standards, and support audits while meeting safety performance targets.

Job Requirements

• Total work experience: 5 years post diploma or 3 years post degree; 7 years without academic background
• Knowledge of survey software
• Knowledge of CAD software
• Knowledge of data management software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
