Role Overview
The Sustainability Intern will support the Sustainability team in implementing ESG initiatives, sustainability reporting, climate risk analysis, and CSR programmes. This role offers hands-on exposure to sustainability strategy, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Sustainability & ESG Support
- Assist in conducting sustainability and climate-related risks and opportunities analysis in alignment with ESG frameworks.
- Support human rights assessments across the supply chain, including data collection and documentation.
- Assist in collating, validating, and analysing ESG performance data from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support preparation of materials and content for Sustainability Report 2025, including storyboard development and narrative structuring.
Reporting & Documentation
- Assist in preparing the storyboard, visuals outline, and key messages for the Sustainability Report.
- Support data tracking, documentation, and version control for sustainability-related deliverables.
CSR & Engagement
- Assist in planning, coordination, and preparation of CSR programmes and initiatives.
- Support sustainability awareness activities and internal engagement programmes.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist in administrative tasks such as:
- Preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP)
- Raising Requisition Orders (RO)
- Tracking attendance for sustainability awareness and training sessions
- Maintaining sustainability-related records and databases
Requirements
- Undergraduate or postgraduate student in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Engineering, or related fields
- Strong interest in sustainability, ESG, climate change, or CSR
- Good analytical and research skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
