Purpose of the Role:
To support the Sustainability Team with a special emphasis on the social aspect of ESG.
Job Scope:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Aprimary task is to gather and analyze data related to a company's social performance.
- Community Engagement and Social Impact: A key area of focus is supporting community engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects. This will involve assisting with the implementation of employee and community outreach efforts, collaborating on equity projects, and supporting corporate campaigns.
- Reporting and Communication: Intern will assist in preparing presentations, reports, and sustainability communications for both internal and external stakeholders. This can include creating materials for employee training on social issues, and developing content to promote a culture of sustainability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: The role may involve interacting with a variety of stakeholders, including non-profit partners, community groups, and employees.
- Supply Chain Due Diligence: Intern will assist in researching and analyzing human rights, ensuring ethical practices throughout the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Law or any other related field.
- Possess a keen interest to learn.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Passion for the Environmental and Social issues.
