About the Role

We are seeking a System Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise systems. This role is ideal for professionals with 3 to 6 years of experience who are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and contributing to the success of business operations through effective infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments.

• Perform system administration activities including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management.

• Troubleshoot and resolve server, application, and infrastructure-related issues within agreed service levels.

• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with security policies.

• Support virtualization platforms, storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery processes.

• Monitor system health, capacity, and performance, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with network, security, and application support teams to deliver infrastructure projects and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum 3 year and up to 6 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure support, or technical operations.

• Knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux administration.

• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.

• Experience supporting enterprise applications, hardware, and operating systems.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies.

• Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other automation/scripting tools.

• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and system hardening techniques.

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Linux, VMware, or Cloud certifications.
