Job Description

Awantec, through its subsidiary, Awantec TalentXchange (ATX) is currently hiring for their clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

Project Implementation

  • Understand the requirements between system and business users. Able to analyse and provide consultancy to both vendor and business users.
  • Interacts with various levels of people to define system requirements and make recommendation for IT system implementation and enhancement
  • Responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures
  • Develop skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analysing and occasionally modifying systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems
  • Develop analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret end-user business requirement and translate them into application and operational requirement
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed: Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), GUI, Screen and Interface designs

Application Support

  • Assists the manager which focusing on IT System Development, Application Support and Maintenance & compliance processes and initiatives
  • Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshooting of core business applications and productivity suites and systems
  • Contribute to develop the knowledge base and application support framework with application manager
  • Support Change Request and Application Business Alignment Activities

General

  • Assists the manager which focusing on System Development, Application Support and Maintenance & compliance processes and initiatives
  • Continuous learning and development update job knowledge by partaking in training opportunities
  • Accomplish department and organisation mission by completing related results as needed
  • Perform any other tasks assigned related to the job from time-to-time
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities;
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE)

  • To take reasonable care for the safety and health of him/herself and of other persons who maybe affected by his/her acts or omissions at work; and
  • To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by the company or authority

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent education and/or work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a business consultant or system analyst in previous job. Preferable to be in oil and gas industry
  • Require having experience in software development life cycle in several projects
  • Experience in supporting various core business applications - based on relevant areas ERP, Finance and Reporting, Productivity Suites
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and team player.
  • Able to interact with all levels of people. Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability.
