System Analyst

We're seeking a System Analyst to support a major manufacturing client in Ipoh as they transition their IT operations from an outsourced model to an in-house team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a business-critical transformation project, working closely with business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

What you'll be doing:

✅ Gather and analyze business and system requirements across operations, production, and supply chain.

✅ Document existing systems, workflows, and processes to support knowledge transfer.

✅ Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and vendors on system enhancements and implementations.

✅ Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and user guides.

✅ Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

✅ Coordinate system integration across ERP, MES, and manufacturing environments.

✅ Conduct training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

✅ Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.

We're looking for candidates with:

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

✔ 2–5 years experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.

✔ Experience in manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

✔ Familiarity with ERP/MES platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar solutions.

✔ Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

✔ Experience in IT transition, system migration, or knowledge transfer projects is an added advantage.

✔ Willingness to be based on-site in Ipoh for the duration of the contract.
