System Analyst – Payment Gateway Operations

Job Description & Skillset Requirement 

We are looking for a System Analyst (Payment Gateway Operations) who will be responsible for 

supporting payment gateway operations, ensuring payment services remain available, secure, and reliable 

while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external payment service providers. 

Responsibilities 

• Monitor daily payment gateway operations to ensure uninterrupted payment processing.  

• Investigate and resolve payment-related incidents and transaction failures.  

• Coordinate with payment gateway providers, banks, and vendors to resolve operational issues.  

• Perform reconciliation and transaction verification when required.  

• Monitor payment service availability and system performance.  

• Support system enhancements, production deployments, and change requests.  

• Perform impact assessment and support testing activities for payment-related enhancements.  

• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and incident records.  

• Perform root cause analysis and recommend service improvements.  

• Support production verification after implementation activities.  

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance 

Technology, or related discipline.  

• 2–8 years of experience in application support, payment systems, or payment gateway 

operations.  

• Experience supporting online payment platforms, payment gateways, or financial transaction 

systems is an advantage.  

• Knowledge of payment processing, reconciliation, and transaction lifecycle is preferred.  

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.  

• Experience coordinating with vendors and business stakeholders.
