What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, virtualized, and containerized environments.
- Manage and optimize container platforms, including Kubernetes and Docker, across development and production workloads.
- Improve reliability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
- Administer core platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, VMware, Intune, and identity services.
- Automate infrastructure and container workflows using scripting and tooling to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate with technology and application teams on system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and container lifecycle management.
- Participate in change management processes, ensuring safe and well-governed production changes.
- Define best practices, maintain documentation, and support Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams with clear operational guidance.
- Support enterprise projects, mentor team members, and provide after-hours support for critical infrastructure or container platform incidents when required.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; ITIL v3 or v4 certifications in Microsoft, Azure, or security technologies are highly regarded.
- At least 5 years experience supporting enterprise-level infrastructure, with strong exposure to virtualization and container platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in production environments.
- Strong expertise across Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware) and monitoring/logging tools such as PRTG, Datadog, or Elastic.
- Intermediate scripting skills across Windows and Linux environments to support automation and operational efficiency.
- Solid understanding of security, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
Work Setup:
- Kuala Lumpur (Mid Valley City): Australian hours (6 am3 pm MYT) with a hybrid set up of three days onsite and two days from home.
