Job Description
We're Hiring | Systems Engineer II
We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer II to join our team on a 1-year contract and work on system-level design, requirements engineering, customer support, and testing for complex engineering projects.
Location: Penang, Malaysia
Experience: 4–7 Years
Contract: 1 Year
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in system-level design and requirements engineering
• Modify, upgrade and enhance existing system designs
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolve complex system issues
• Support system testing and validation activities
• Provide technical/customer support
• Develop recommendations and implement solutions
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations
Required Skills:
Strong system-level engineering experience
Knowledge of video technologies and standards such as MPEG, Open Cable, etc.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet
Experience with system engineering and requirements management tools/techniques
Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Ideal Candidate:
A Systems Engineer with 4–7 years of experience and strong exposure to system design, requirements, testing, networking and troubleshooting. Experience with video technologies/standards will be highly relevant.
