System Engineer - Semiconductor

Responsibilities

• Responsible for system integration, setup, calibration, and verification prior to handover to application teams
• Provide technical support to production sites (Malaysia & China) on system-related and quality issues
• Acts as technical lead to coordinate cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and resolving complex engineering problems
• Perform verification testing for new and existing modules based on business needs
• Optimize Die Bonder system performance (accuracy, stability, productivity)
• Support development of hardware and software modules through analysis, testing, and qualification
• Design and conduct experiments to improve system parameters and production processes
• Support customers, product management, and manufacturing engineering on technical, project, and supplier-related matters
• Document, analyze, and present engineering findings and results
• Facilitate knowledge transfer from engineering to production teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Microsystem Technology, or related field)
• Prior experience in semiconductor equipment, process engineering, or mechanical/ electrical engineering is an advantage
• Hands-on experience in lab environments and with measurement equipment
• Proficiency in Matlab or Python is required
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a systematic and analytical approach
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel for business purposes (30%).
