Job Description:
Contributes to the design, development, and validation of system software across one or more layers of the software stack including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and/or middleware to enable Intel platforms and technologies. Engages in crossstack software optimization and contributes to reference platform development for specific domains and market segments. As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through handson experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be pursuing a master's degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus. The candidate must be knowledge in Software technology and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is highly desirable.
Experience in Javascript
Experience in developing and integrating middleware solutions such as Express.js for Node.js, to build efficient and scalable server-side applications.
Experience with database technologies to design, implement, and optimize database schemas, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity and security.
Basic knowledge of user experience and interface design (UX/UI Design) to create intuitive and engaging web applications.
Experience in other programming languages such as C++, Python, etc.
Numerical algorithm design
Computational geometry algorithms
