About the Opportunity
On behalf of our international client, Sunbytes is hiring a Remote Systems Engineer (Cloud & Core Services) to support and evolve their global hybrid-cloud datacenter infrastructure.
Our client is a large-scale, technology-driven enterprise operating across multiple regions, with a strong focus on hybrid cloud, core infrastructure services, and enterprise-grade IT operations.
In this role, you will be a hands-on systems engineer, working closely with global IT, security, and application teams to design, implement, operate, and continuously improve hybrid cloud and datacenter core services platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the client's global hybrid-cloud infrastructure
- Participate in the design, installation, configuration, patching, and system upgrades, working with a high level of autonomy.
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades, especially during unexpected situations where quick thinking and flexibility are required
- Plan, deploy, and administer core services and hybrid-cloud platforms (Azure, Active Directory, Linux, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with adjacent technical towers (DBA, SAP Basis, Network, and Security) to ensure end-to-end system reliability and stability.
- Oversee daily activities of contractors and managed service providers, ensuring standards are met even under high-pressure scenarios
- Ensure architecture standards and infrastructure strategy align with global IT initiatives
