We are looking for an Oracle Fusion Procurement Consultant who can combine strong functional expertise with business consulting, solution design, implementation and stakeholder management capabilities.

The Opportunity

As an Oracle Fusion Procurement Consultant, you will support clients throughout the Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM lifecycle, from business requirements and process assessment through solution design, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.

The role will focus primarily on Oracle Fusion Procurement and Source-to-Pay (S2P), with opportunities to work across related Oracle SCM modules and cross-functional business processes.

What You'll Do

1. Oracle Fusion Procurement Functional Consulting

  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion Procurement solutions.
  • Lead business consultation discussions with procurement, finance, supply chain and business stakeholders.
  • Understand current As-Is processes and define future To-Be processes.
  • Conduct fit-gap assessments and identify opportunities for process standardisation.
  • Prepare functional requirements, solution specifications and configuration documentation.
  • Provide functional guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

2. Source-to-Pay / Procurement Process

Support end-to-end procurement processes, including:

  • Requisitioning.
  • Purchase orders.
  • Purchasing.
  • Supplier management.
  • Procurement approvals.
  • Receiving.
  • Invoice matching and related finance integration.
  • Procurement contracts and sourcing processes where applicable.
  • Procurement controls, policies and governance.

Work with business stakeholders to improve procurement efficiency, compliance and user experience.

3. Oracle Fusion SCM Configuration

  • Configure Oracle Fusion Procurement based on approved business requirements.
  • Define procurement business units, purchasing structures and relevant functional setups.
  • Configure approval workflows and procurement policies.
  • Support supplier and procurement master data requirements.
  • Validate configurations through functional testing.
  • Maintain configuration documentation and solution design records.

4. Business Process & Solution Design

  • Analyse complex business requirements and identify appropriate Oracle solutions.
  • Design solutions for process gaps, interfaces and cross-functional requirements.
  • Develop solution prototypes where appropriate.
  • Present alternative solution options to clients.
  • Assess business, technical and integration impacts.
  • Recommend practical approaches that balance functionality, risk, cost and delivery timelines.

5. Oracle SCM Integration

Support integration across Oracle Fusion SCM and related enterprise applications, including:

  • Oracle Procurement.
  • Oracle Inventory.
  • Oracle Manufacturing.
  • Oracle Cost Management.
  • Oracle Order Management.
  • Oracle Warehouse Management.
  • Oracle Financials.
  • Third-party applications and enterprise integration platforms.

Work with technical teams to define functional integration requirements, interfaces, data flows and dependencies.

6. Implementation & Project Delivery

Participate in full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations:

Business Demand → Requirements → As-Is / To-Be Assessment → Fit-Gap → Solution Design → Configuration → Integration → SIT → UAT → Deployment → Hypercare → AMS / Operate → Enhancement → Continuous Improvement

Responsibilities include:

  • Requirements workshops.
  • Process mapping.
  • Fit-gap analysis.
  • Functional solution design.
  • Configuration.
  • Data migration and validation support.
  • Integration coordination.
  • Testing and defect resolution.
  • Deployment and cutover support.
  • Post-go-live support and stabilisation.

7. UAT & Business Acceptance

  • Support the preparation of UAT strategy, scenarios and test cases.
  • Review and validate test data.
  • Investigate UAT issues and determine functional root causes.
  • Coordinate with business users and technical developers to resolve issues.
  • Track defects through resolution.
  • Support business acceptance and sign-off.
  • Validate fixes through regression testing where required.

8. AMS / Operate & Enhancement

Where required, support Oracle Fusion Procurement application operations after implementation.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Production incident analysis.
  • Service request management.
  • Problem management and root-cause analysis.
  • Enhancement assessment.
  • Change requests.
  • Release management.
  • Application optimisation.
  • Continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge management and operational documentation.

9. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Facilitate business and functional workshops.
  • Communicate complex Oracle concepts clearly to business users.
  • Manage expectations, risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with business, functional, technical and integration teams.
  • Drive decisions and actions towards agreed outcomes.

10. Team Development & Coaching

At Consultant level, you will also be expected to contribute to team capability development by:

  • Coaching junior team members.
  • Sharing Oracle Fusion Procurement knowledge.
  • Reviewing functional deliverables.
  • Supporting knowledge transfer.
  • Encouraging collaborative problem solving.
  • Contributing to team learning and development.

11. Business Development

Support Deloitte's business development activities by contributing to:

  • Client proposals.
  • Solution presentations.
  • Demonstrations and prototypes.
  • Business cases.
  • Solution assessments.
  • Procurement transformation propositions.
  • Industry and Oracle technology insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM experience for Consultant-level consideration.
  • At least one full end-to-end Oracle SCM implementation lifecycle.
  • Strong experience in one or more Oracle SCM areas, preferably Procurement.
  • Hands-on functional experience in Oracle Fusion configuration and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of As-Is / To-Be process analysis and fit-gap assessment.
  • Ability to design solutions for complex business requirements, process gaps and interfaces.
  • Cross-module and cross-application integration experience.
  • Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect resolution and deployment.
  • Oracle certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and within tight project timelines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
  • Strong business acumen, teamwork and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to coach and support junior team members.
