Role Description The Takaful Consultant role at PruBSN Takaful is a full-time, on-site position based in Seberang Perai. The consultant will meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial protection needs and legacy objectives, and recommend suitable takaful plans that comply with Shariah principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, preparing proposals, explaining product benefits and terms, and assisting clients through the application and onboarding process. The consultant will also maintain ongoing client relationships, provide regular reviews of coverage, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth policy servicing. Additional responsibilities may include participating in community outreach, attending training sessions, and meeting performance and compliance targets.

Qualifications

Ability to provide clear, empathetic client advisory and build long-term relationships through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Understanding of takaful concepts, Islamic finance, and basic financial planning, or willingness to learn and undergo structured training.
Organizational skills to manage client portfolios, documentation, and follow-ups while meeting performance and compliance requirements.
Comfort with on-site client engagement in Seberang Perai, including occasional community events, workshops, or outreach activities.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with integrity and commitment to ethical, customer-focused service.
Minimum diploma or bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is an advantage; relevant experience in financial services or sales is beneficial.
Basic proficiency in digital tools and office software for preparing proposals, reports, and managing client information.
