Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and high-potential Talent Acquisition Executive to join our regional recruitment team in Kuala Lumpur.

This role is designed for someone who is smart, analytical, resilient and eager to learn, with the potential to develop into a strong regional Talent Acquisition professional. You will work closely with hiring managers and regional stakeholders across different markets, gaining exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle and a wide range of functions.

You do not need to know everything from day one. What matters most is your learning ability, logical thinking, communication skills, ownership and ability to perform under pressure.

Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process for positions across Malaysia and regional markets, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and offer management.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, define candidate profiles and develop appropriate recruitment strategies.
  • Identify and build talent pools through LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, social media and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct candidate sourcing, resume screening and initial phone/video interviews to assess candidates against role requirements.
  • Research and understand different talent markets, industries and candidate profiles to support regional hiring.
  • Engage and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a professional and positive candidate experience.
  • Prepare candidate profiles, interview feedback and recruitment updates for hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and follow-through.
  • Monitor recruitment progress and maintain accurate candidate and hiring data in the ATS/recruitment systems.
  • Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, time-to-fill, source of hire and candidate conversion rates.
  • Support job posting, recruitment campaigns, career events and other talent attraction initiatives.
  • Conduct market research on talent availability, compensation trends and recruitment channels when required.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Work with the wider TA team on recruitment projects, process improvements and employer branding initiatives.
  • Take on progressively greater recruitment responsibilities as you develop your capabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, business, consulting, sales or other people-oriented functions.
  • Strong academic background with a Bachelor's degree or above from a recognised university.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and intellectual curiosity — able to understand new concepts, industries and job requirements quickly.
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking with the ability to break down problems and make sound, structured decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies or important information quickly.
  • Highly resilient and able to work under pressure, manage setbacks and maintain performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-driven and willing to take ownership rather than waiting for instructions.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Recruitment Skills

  • Previous internship or experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, HR, Consulting, Sales or a similar function is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, JobStreet or other recruitment platforms is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of sourcing, candidate screening and interview processes is preferred.
  • Comfortable working with data, ATS and Lark Workspace.
  • Willingness to learn recruitment technology, sourcing tools and AI-enabled recruitment solutions.
