Job Description
About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you will support our team throughout the recruitment process, gaining hands-on experience in finding the right talent for the right jobs.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct job-market research to understand hiring trends, candidate availability and which vacancies are most suitable for different recruitment platforms
- Prepare and publish strategic job advertisements across job portals, social media and other recruitment channels
- Work towards daily job-posting and candidate-engagement KPIs
- Review resumes and identify candidates who meet the basic requirements of assigned vacancies
- Contact and screen candidates through phone calls and WhatsApp to understand their experience, expectations, availability and suitability
- Prepare shortlisted candidate profiles and present them to the HR representatives of our clients
- Assist with interview coordination between candidates and hiring managers
- Follow up with candidates regarding their applications, interviews and recruitment outcomes
- Update recruitment trackers, candidate statuses and other records promptly and accurately
About you
- Currently undergoing, or a final year diploma or bachelor student, with minimum of 3 months internship
- Comfortable communicating with candidates through phone calls and WhatsApp
- Fluent in spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Familiar with using Google Workspace (GDocs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail etc.) and Microsoft Office (Words, PPT, Excel etc.)
- Can manage repetitive administrative work without compromising accuracy
- Organised and attentive to detail when handling candidate information
- Must have your own laptop
