Your Role in VT Markets

As a Talent Acquisition Intern based in our Kuala Lumpur office, you will report to the Regional Senior Talent Acquisition and support hiring initiatives across Southeast Asia. You will play a key role in talent mapping, market research, candidate sourcing, and recruitment process support, ensuring VT Markets attracts high-quality talent aligned with business objectives. This role provides exposure to strategic TA operations and cross-functional collaboration with HR Ops, Regional Marketing, and Business Development teams.

Your Responsibilities

Talent Mapping & Market Research

  • Conduct research on talent pools, competitors, and industry trends across SEA markets.
  • Identify potential candidates, build pipelines, and maintain a structured talent mapping database.
  • Analyze market insights to support strategic hiring decisions and regional workforce planning.

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Source candidates via LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and networking channels.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and engagement aligned with VT Markets employer brand.
  • Assist in pre-screening candidates and coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers.

Recruitment Process Support

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and track recruitment metrics.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including interview preparation, reference checks, and offer coordination.
  • Collaborate with HR Ops and Global HR COE to ensure seamless recruitment processes.

  • Talent pipelines for SEA markets are consistently populated with high-quality, relevant candidates aligned with VT Markets growth needs.
  • Market intelligence insights and reports support strategic hiring decisions and competitive positioning.
  • Recruitment activities are executed efficiently, ensuring smooth candidate experience and timely hiring processes.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Job Experience & Education

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Internship or project experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, or market research is a plus.

Technical and Functional Skills

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and basic sourcing tools.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to map talent pools and industry trends.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for candidate engagement and cross-team collaboration.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing tasks and timelines.

Other Requirements

  • Full-time availability for the internship duration.
