Job Description

Join DayOne – Shaping the Future of Data Infrastructure

DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, we've built a robust presence across Asia and Europe — and we're just getting started.

As we expand into new international markets, we're looking for talented, driven individuals to join us on this exciting journey. This is more than a job — it's an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.

If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne's next chapter.

About The Role

DayOne is rapidly expanding its data centre footprint across the APAC region, with active construction programmes running across multiple markets. We need a Talent Acquisition Specialist who can do more than coordinate — someone who sources independently, owns their roles end-to-end, and brings enough market knowledge to challenge a brief and improve it.

You'll operate as a core member of the APAC TA team, working closely with the APAC Construction Hiring Lead to deliver against hiring plans across construction and design functions spanning multiple APAC markets.

What You'll Deliver In 12 Months

  • Roles closed on time and on quality across your assigned construction and design functions
  • Clean pipeline data and reporting the team can act on

Your Responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles across APAC markets — from sourcing and screening through to offer and close
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for specialist and hard-to-fill talent: civil, structural, MEP, architectural design, and data centre construction
  • Conduct structured candidate screening and present shortlists with clear assessment rationale
  • Build and manage relationships with passive candidates across APAC's construction and infrastructure talent pools
  • Advise hiring managers on role scoping, market availability, and candidate expectations across different APAC markets
  • Own ATS data integrity — pipeline stages, candidate records, and disposition tracking
  • Draft and post job advertisements across LinkedIn and relevant local platforms per market (e.g. JobStreet, JobsDB, Seek)
  • Coordinate assessments, interviews, and offer processes end-to-end across time zones
  • Track and report on key metrics — time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, source effectiveness
  • Contribute to employer branding activity including career events and university outreach across the region

Must-Haves

  • 4–6 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, with a track record of closing specialist or technical roles
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates across multiple APAC markets — not just managing inbound applications
  • Prior experience recruiting for construction-related roles (e.g. civil, structural, MEP, project management) or design disciplines (e.g. architectural, interior, or engineering design)
  • Comfortable operating across different markets, time zones, and cultural contexts within APAC
  • Confident assessing candidates independently and presenting recommendations to hiring managers
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) — essential for engaging talent across the region's key markets
  • Able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding

Nice-to-Haves

  • Workday ATS proficiency and comfort working with data and reports
  • Background hiring in critical infrastructure — data centres, energy, utilities, or construction
  • Experience working in high-growth or greenfield environments
  • Familiarity with employment regulations and work permit processes across APAC markets (Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Australia, etc.)
  • Additional APAC language skills (Malay, Thai, Japanese, etc.)

Why DayOne

APAC's digital infrastructure market is being built right now — and DayOne is at the centre of it. For a specialist who wants their work to matter and their region to be their remit, this is the right place at the right time.

DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

If you're ready to grow with one of the fastest-moving companies in the data center industry, apply now and be part of our global journey.
