About the Job

Involved in Talent Acquisition lifecycle from sourcing, screening, interviewing to on-boarding talents into the organisation.

  • Work closely with the Business Partners to understand the hiring requirements and source for suitable candidates via appropriate recruitment platforms.
  • Assist with the execution of recruitment plans in collaboration with business leaders to ensure open positions are successfully filled.
  • Recommend and deploy a range of assessment tools, techniques and technology solutions to reduce time to hire while effectively managing hiring costs within the approved budget.
  • Represent the company at external career fairs and recruitment forums.
  • Liaise with line managers to facilitate interviews and meetings with candidates.
  • Provide regular updates to line managers and candidates on status of recruitment.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive communication of job offer to candidates.
  • Analyse all information gathered from the screening and assessment process to support hiring managers in making decisions on offers of employment.
  • Perform and ensure that necessary pre-employment screening and checks are done prior to making job offers to selected candidates.
  • Assist with the development of a database of contacts to facilitate access to potential recruits of the organisation to allow proactive and immediate sourcing of qualified candidates when the need arises.
  • Assist in managing and running analytical numbers and reports for scheduled reporting as well as ad-hoc reports related to hiring metrics, headcounts and manpower planning for internal and external needs.
  • Assist with the review and refinement of the recruitment process to enhance candidate and line manager experience.

We are looking for people with

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Strong resourcefulness and creativity in identifying and engaging potential candidates through various sourcing channels.
  • High resilience, strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning abilities, with good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A high level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • A proactive mindset with the initiative to drive continuous improvements and the adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
