Job Description
- Manage all tax compliance processes, including preparing and reviewing tax returns.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings in line with local regulations.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management and forecasting.
- Develop and implement efficient tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Partner with external auditors and tax consultants to address compliance matters.
- Monitor and analyze financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance and training to the finance team on tax and treasury matters.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management review.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Tax & Treasury Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and treasury management practices.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
- Experience in the retail industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment in Klang Valley.
